"They are currently renovating so I am sure when it is finished it will be very good. People were very nice. We loved the northwoods/cabin decor. Again it in repair while we were there so the price was very good. Good safe location. Closer to Urbandale than Johnston...which was a plus for us. Cute bar!!! That was a plus since we got in late. Very nice free breakfast. Room was clean and great shower pressure."

"Place is a dump. Booked 2 nights and stayed only 1 night. Woke up with a pepperoni stuck to my back that was left in the bed and a spider I luckily smashed. Friends bed in the same room had a 6” dookie stain on the edge. They clearly do not change sheets or wash them. Stay far away, the management doesn’t care about the property."

"The only that I liked about the hotel was that the bed was comfortable. The rooms had that damp moldy smell to them. The pictures were misleading from the website. They need to update the rooms. The bathroom had dirty tile and there was someone’s fingernail still in the floor. I won’t stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel to any friends. The staff were great and friendly tho."

"The room was exceptional and functional. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. Safely secured and staff were great. "Seemed a bit under staffed and took a while to check in and check out. Our shampoo and body wash dispensers were completely out in the shower so we used what we brought. The hair dryer is not in a bag and hangs on the bathroom door handle. Staff nice and very clean facility. Only one washer and one dryer but work well. Quiet and feels safe. Would stay here again."
