"An older building, very dated but much cheaper than other hotels around. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. No ac in the first floor bedroom so a little warm. The loft had ac and a nice fan, so that was very comfortable. Overall a wonderful place to say if you are trying to save $$."

"The hotel is conveniently located where food/eatery/gas are just nearby/walkable. Staffs were very friendly. Room was clean & spacious. We were at level 2, no lift but okay to carry up our bags. We love the breakfast, simple yet delicious; daily options vary from sausages, bacon, waffles DIY, hash browns they were cooked so well, one of the best ^^ at the reception area too they provided coffee, tea, apples & cookies (love em’ so much!). Overall pleased with the stay, will definitely come back...

"Was a bit concerned by the outside look of the hotel, but it turned out to be a very comfortable stay. Big king bed, renovated bathroom, and one of the most amazing views I've had from any hotel room, with a full view of the mountains. Yes, you could hear the band at night - as they warned - but it was far from loud, and we had no trouble sleeping through it. Perfect location right at the entrance to the main pedestrian street, alongside Policemen's Creek. Highly recommended - wish we hadn't...

"This is an great area to stay nearby Banff (30 mins away), and still have some space to yourself. Staff is awesome and kind. It’s clean, cozy, and has beautiful views all around. Enjoy the Johnston Canyon Trail (do it in the evening, it’s less crowded!). "

"Samesun is reliable for having nice hostels. Nice shared areas and good folks. The only issue I ran into was that my truck didn't fit in their parking spots but I was able to find free overnight street parking not far away. Really great location."
