"Everything about the motel was great, the location, helpful and nice staff, and even how clean and nice the rooms are, however the singular issue i had was the fact that there was no AC. The room had a heater unit and a ceiling fan but thats it, so on a hot night it difficult to stay cool, we had to turn on the ceiling fan and open the windows all night and it was still hot. Otherwise great hotel"

11. Days Inn by Wyndham Monterey Downtown

Alta Mesa

"It was a very pleasant stay. The motel is centrally located. It was 6 min to the Wharf, Cannary Row, restaurants, a catholic church, the Aquarium..if you have a big family and then you will love this… Denny ‘s is a 1/2 block away. Rooms were very big. The only down side was the bathroom. Tub was very slippery, and the curtain did not close all the way. So the first time the water was all over the floor. But we always come prepared. Used a binder clip at the top to hold curtain closed. No...

"We were extremely impressed with how immaculate everything was at El Castell Hotel! The rooms were spotless, the beds were comfortable, the AC worked great, and even the pool area was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Our only complaint was the noise due to thin walls and windows. We had extremely inconsiderate guests stomping and yelling throughout the night. Thankfully, the wonderful staff was incredibly accommodating and moved us to another room. Although we could still hear traffic,...

"The room looked great, spacious, modern and new, with comfortable mattresses, but the bathroom was very old, especially the shower. It definitely needs a whole upgrade. The shower is more like a room in itself (dark and somehow claustrophobic), with little tiles from floor to ceiling and dirty grout all around. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again just because the shower gave me the heebie-jeebies. We also did not like the room main door. It looked like a prison door and had a window-like opening...

Soledad

"This was our first Motel 6 experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Pinnacles NP does not have any lodges/hotels in the park, so Soledad was a good choice when you are visiting on the West side of the park. The drive is about 25 minutes to the park. We took a room on the backside of the building away from the traffic. My sister did get woken up by the roosters. They give you 2 pillows per person so if you want additional you have to pay extra. There was a minifridge and a microwave in the...

"Room 420 was clean and roomy though dated. Room was fresh with no odor despite being a pet friendly motel. Liked having two easy chairs and an end table to spread out on. Room has a small fridge with separate freezer section, small coffee pot and mugs for coffee or tea. Mattress was very firm. There was no dresser though two nightstands each had a large drawer. Nightstands didn’t offer USB outlets and had to move furniture to access outlets for charging electronics. Shower offered abundant hot...
