My favourite hotel. My girlfriend and I always stay at Clayton’s on trips. Rooms are amazing, facilities are brilliant and the staff are super helpful and nice. We love it so much we are planning trips based on visiting new Clayton hotels. I couldn’t recommend staying here more !!!

I am slightly movement disabled. There are 10 to 12 steps to climb to get up to the hotel and then another 10-15 steps to get from the bar area to the restaurant. I found the restaurant menu was limited, although what we ordered was good. The showers were well equipped with grab bars and other disability amenities were good. It was a problem that a taxi cannot drive to the front door because the Council has the street blocked off 50 yards above the entrance to the hotel. We liked the breakfast. The rooms were pretty large by UK standards and the house staff did a good job.
