Hotel was a 15 minute walk from Pisa Centrale and a 15 minute walk to all major attractions like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Lots of international dining/shoppiNg. "Right in the thick of the city, but peaceful and quiet at night. It is a hotel filled with history—a perfect match for its city. "

"Great location, 1 min to Duomo and 10 minute walk from station. Room good size and modern bathroom, good shower. Cleaned daily. It is an older building and our room was at reception which did make it a bit noisier at times, but for all the time your in your room caused no issues. Check in and check out good and no other contact required with the staff. Secure access "

"Stayed for 3 nights for a local conference (CNR). I have limited Italian, but the staff were wonderful; very helpful and kind. breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced, and the room was clean and functional, and CNR was easily walkable (about 15 minutes gentle walk). There was a local supermarket within walking distance, as well as local restaurants. Very happy with my stay."

"It is a small hotel, but operated as home away from home. The staff were very nice and helpful. They are local people and are able to tell you everything you need to know about Florence, where to eat, what to see. I ran into some health issue with a family member, they did everything to help. "

"Beautifully maintained property in the best location in Florence. Right in the center of the city but very quiet at night. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served in a grand dining room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend. "

"Really excellent location in an old building. Close to lots of sights. There's 1 window on the bedroom which is large but high up so you can only see the street if you stand on the ledge to see out. Air conditioning is only allowed from June to September but due to hot weather we requested to use it in may which was allowed by the owner. I wasn't aware of this law and I didn't see it on the listing. Maybe missed it but I tried hard to find it afterwards so if it is there it's not obvious."

"It was about a 20 to 30 minute walk to Old City Wall. Much longer to walk back as it is uphill. A taxi back was approximately 30 euros. Our room was small but clean. The Manager was helpful for directions etc. "

"A nice and clean hotel, hidden away so little confusing but all worked out. Room was very clean, can't fault that. Refurbed so that was good. The shower and toilet were ridiculously high, can't work out why. Felt Quite unsafe getting in and out of shower - only fault. "
