"This accommodation was a beautiful traditional venue with all it's rustic and creaky authenticity. The location was very quiet (and also means you are rightfully expected to be quite) and very conveniently close to the subway station. Unfortunately there was clearly an error in anticipating my stay as bed sheets were not clean, had stains and other peoples hair on them. "Such a nice hotel! Very convenient location, with free shuttle to the train station (only about 10 minutes away). Staff was very helpful, answering a couple of emails before our trip in a very prompt manner, as well as being helpful while we were staying there. They were able to hold our bags for us when we arrived several hours prior to check in so we could go sightseeing, and they held them again for us for a couple of hours after checkout so we could see a few more things before leaving town....

Excellent hotel in Kyoto, convenient location
"Such a nice hotel! Very convenient location, with free shuttle to the train station (only about 10 minutes away). Staff was very helpful, answering a couple of emails before our trip in a very prompt manner, as well as being helpful while we were staying there. They were able to hold our bags for us when we arrived several hours prior to check in so we could go sightseeing, and they held them again for us for a couple of hours after checkout so we could see a few more things before leaving town. The room was spacious, modern and clean - very comfortable! I believe we got a very good deal using this site, so we were thrilled to see how nice this hotel was. We loved our two night stay there and would absolutely love to stay there again!"

"The Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto is very conveniently located within easy walking distance of the Kyoto Train Station. There are 2 convenience stores within 50 m. Restaurants and shops are located in the Kyoto Train Station The Nidec Kyoto Tower is within easy walking distance. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We arrived before checkin time and were able to store our luggage in their cloakroom. Similarly we were able to store our luggage after checkout, given our flight was in the evening. The room was clean and well presented. "
