The hotel is near the Royal Hawaiian Center, walking distance to many shops, luxury shops, and the International Market place. Staff were great. We were given reusable pouches for water, friendly for the environment. I loved the bidet. We booked 1 king bed with partial ocean views and got upgraded to a corner room with partial ocean views that had 1 king bed and a full bed. Hotel is nice and clean. "

"This is an iconic and gorgeous property, the staff are incredible and it is right on the beach which is rare. That said- spring for an ocean view room. We didn’t see any reviews saying otherwise and we regret it. It was so. Noisy. Do not get a city view room for this reason if you wish to sleep. That and unfortunately the balcony’s were all under construction- this was super disappointing and could’ve been disclosed better prior to our stay. "

"This is a very old hotel. It's not fancy inside and the rooms are very basic. The water pressure is very strong, however, making for a very nice shower experience. "Waikiki Malia was clean and affordable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The elevators are a pain in the @$$, though. While we appreciate the convenience of on-site parking, trying to park an SUV was challenging. Also, navigating the tight turns in the parking structure was scary. I’m so surprised we didn’t scratch the car trying to exit. It wasn’t a bad stay at the hotel, just a couple of things that made the stay less than stellar."
