"Lakeside Resort was a wonderful experience. The cabins are so nice and well maintained, our only critique is the furniture in the "Living room" was very uncomfortable, if we were 5'2" it would have been fine but after wine tasting all day we just wanted to sit back with a glass of "the find of the day" and relax, but the chairs didn't have tall enough backs to actually rest your head on so we ended up watching TV in the bedroom where we could rest against the headboard with pillows. "Loved everything about this B&B. It was nice and peaceful with the upstairs balcony, closed porch and two roofed patios with fire pits. Staff were very nice and excellent with the tour and breakfast. And their reliability to stock the fire pits. Only thing was the pool was said to be heated but still very cold. "This is my third time staying at this property, it is super convenient to access the wineries around Hector. It’s nice to drive down to the water and sit on the dock and watch sunset. "We loved our overnight at the Statler. We explored the falls areas, botanic gardens, arboretum, art gallery, dairy bar and down into collegetown for some great Asian food. We had a beautiful view that reached the lake to the hillsides and the campus buildings. Everyone was super friendly and the room was well-sized and clean. "
