"The U.S. Grant Hotel has a lot of history. Love cuz it’s walking distance to the convention center and Petco Stadium. There’s also lots of places to done at. "

"All the Gaslamp Quarter fun is just a short walk away. Police dept next door procided a feeling of safety. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. The only negative was the shower head and bathroom faucet had very low water pressure. I didnt report it so I dont know if that was normal for the property."

"Liked everything except hours for Marina Kitchen. It closes at 10 pm, yet bunch of people came after concert at The Rand Shell was finished. They should consider extending the hours on concert days"

"Well kept luxury hotel in the heart of downtown. Has an older vibe to it but is modern and elegant. The room was a great size. Location was excellent for walking to Petco Park, San Diego Bay, and 5th street. The staff was very helpful, especially David. He helped arrange a taxi to be ready for us for airport transportation. The price for was more than fair. Would stay here again. "
