Amsterdam Hotels with Swimming Pool

"This may be one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff bent over backwards to make us happy. The day we checked in, the clerk noticed on my passport that it was my birthday. She was charming wishing me a happy birthday. Then two minutes after entering our room, she called to make sure everything was ok. Then about a half hour later, she personally brought to the room a dish a chocolates and a hand-written card welcoming us and again wishing me a happy birthday. The whole staff was...

"Excellent location at the edge of old Amsterdam and across from Central Station. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. It's very trendy, so for older folks lighting is a challenge. A/C works great and is very quiet."

"This is a lovely hotel, if a little tired in places and our overall stay was good. If the following was addressed this would shift from good to a fantastic place to stay. The pool was closed during the stay which we weren’t informed about when booking or before arriving. The gym was pretty basic, old equipment; neither treadmills worked. "Friendly and helpful staff. Hard with one elevator to get to our room. Area outside the hotel had litter which was sad to see .The swimming pool and wellness centre very good."

"I liked the free shuttle to the airport and the food in the bar. The only complaint about the hotel was there was no lotion in the bathroom. But other than that, I would say it is a very good place to spend the night before you fly out of Amsterdam."

"For some reason my room card (room 413) wouldn't work on the 3rd evening, which was a problem as it was after 10.30 in the evening, and i was a single 69 year old traveller. I returned to reception and the card was reset, i returned again to the 4th floor to find it still wasn't working. A member of staff then escorted me to the access door on the 4th floor to ensure it worked the 3rd time."
