"This is a lovely hotel, if a little tired in places and our overall stay was good. If the following was addressed this would shift from good to a fantastic place to stay. The pool was closed during the stay which we weren’t informed about when booking or before arriving. The gym was pretty basic, old equipment; neither treadmills worked. "Nice place in a slightly quieter part of Amsterdam, but still only a few minutes walk from where it all happens. Staff were super and the hotel bar was well run. We didn’t try breakfast or dining options as there are so many places close by. My only gripe was the slightly odd toilet/Shower cubicle arrangement in the room. Rather than being a separate room, they are literally just cubicles in your room and the sink is in the corner. Perhaps it’s a normal Dutch layout but it was a bit weird for...

"It was wonderful to get off the train and walk 5 minutes to the hotel. It would be nice if they had ice available for their guests, but hotels in Europe just don't seem to. I guess they like drinking lukewarm water there. All in all though, the stay was very good."
