The room is tastefully decorated with fine Laotian touches. The patio leads out to the pool, the aircon is quiet and cool and a welcome after a two day river trip down the Mekong. The staff bend over backwards to make your stay a real five star experience. When it comes to dining you soon discover that the best restaurant in town is in your hotel. You sit at a table under the moonlight that reflects in the lotus and lily ponds. It is an oriental vision inspired by Claude Monet's Water Lillies. It is a scene so fittingly Laotian and Gallic.
