Majestic Elegance was amazing. We went 3 years ago and some of the restaurants were close and the club but this year everything was open and operational. I love all the restaurants especially the Japanese and the buffet for lunch. The buffet has a lot of variety of food for breakfast and lunch. We loved the beach, always kept clean. The pool and swim-up bar was amazing. Huge thanks to the bartenders at the swim up bar - Layner and Juan Daniel always so nice and attentive. Also, the servers: Pedro that has been there for more than 15 years and Rigoberto were servicial and always attentive to your needs. I would definitely recommended and would go back again. We were 3 couples in our early 30s and we had fun.

Our room was the first room where Adult Club only access started, and family access ended. The noise level was very loud from the family pool, and the ground level room and patio had NO VIEW other than shrubbery and other people walking by our patio area and looking/ listening as they walked by.

These douchebags would not refund my money because we decided not to go due to the violence going on in Haiti! They made no notice that it was spilling into their country which causes a security risk to people visiting! Money the bottom line and is why their country is not safe! I would not recommend this hotel. The experience was frightening and frustrating. Starting with an employee hired to be a dancer/party starter who molested (made sexual advances) to my daughter and I. I reported him ( his name was Alberto) to the front desk manager on May 5th at around 9pm. Staff members later told me that he had a .34 alcohol level and that he was “supposedly” fired. This hotel already had a bad reputation- apparently they can’t fix this situation. A lot of bait and switch - from letting me book another room because 1 room for 3 wasn’t spacious enough. They said they would issue a refund for one person in the original room which now only had two people. Instead, they charged me for 3 people in one room plus the additional room (4 people - when there were only 3). Everything had to include a heavy tip or it “wasn’t possible.” There’s so much more but that’s the highlight. I’d give it Zero stars if it were possible.
