"Best Western was conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the University of Glasgow. In the area there was several really good restaurants, inlcuding Michelin star mentioned Ox and Finch wich was a dream come true for a hungry traveler. I was staying in a room on the first floor facing the back yard and it was very quiet so no problem there. The bathroom had a funky smell, almost like it had the presence of mold in the floor or underneeth the shower cabin. So had the wentilation on at all...

"For the very reasonable price I was very pleasantly surprised by the high-end nature of the hotel. I'm not a huge fan of the trend for hallways and public areas painted in dark colours, and the window in my room was impossible to secure tightly shut, but overall a great stay in a lovely village. "
