"Very nice hotel with lovely views of the river, pleasant staff and decent breakfast. While I very much appreciated a free room upgrade, there was a wedding party staying above/next to my room and the noise until 2am made for a poor night’s sleep - obviously not the hotel’s fault but perhaps ensuring business and leisure customers are kept as separate as possible would have minimised the disruption. Hopefully just a one-off and I would stay again. "

"This was booked last minute, during a very busy weekend in Glasgow and Edinburgh, due to being let down with our previous booked accommodation not being available. The price was better than most of the other hotels and in my opinion, very reasonable. The hotel was clean and tidy, as were the rooms. The staff were very nice, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent although, again only my opinion, the tatty scones were just slightly over fried. Plenty of option for everyone’s tastes....
