"I like that this property is so close to the beach and shopping area. The gym and laundry facilities located on the same floor was convenient. I was able to work out while waiting for the laundry to be done. The manager’s reception with live music and the breakfast with miso soup daily sweet fresh pineapple were really enjoyable. The person that picked our room looked at us weird when we told them that we did not want to upgrade. I loved the restaurant on the first floor. Great customer service and great food. "Waikiki Malia was clean and affordable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The elevators are a pain in the @$$, though. While we appreciate the convenience of on-site parking, trying to park an SUV was challenging. Also, navigating the tight turns in the parking structure was scary. I’m so surprised we didn’t scratch the car trying to exit. It wasn’t a bad stay at the hotel, just a couple of things that made the stay less than stellar."
