"The most sympathetic place and staff unfortunately they are closing (first the restaurant, then the hotel) and as such demotivation, esp. by cleaning staff can be sensed, making the use of shower facilities uncomfortable. I wish them to get new energy through a renovation and/or new ownership, as the place is well-located just by a metro station and many small restaurants and other shops with good prices compared to central Tokyo or even, more touristic places in that area"

"This place is a traveler's dream. The listing is located in a peaceful town just a few stops away from the touristy Tokyo areas. Despite being small, the room has everything you need for a comfortable stay after long days of exploring. A big plus was having our own washer which is super helpful for longer stays. Highly recommend."

"Mustard Hotel is a fantastic stay with helpful staff, a great attached cafe and bar and a cool vibe. It's super walkable to Shimokitazawa or to other Tokyo transport links but acts as a nice quiet base! Even with Shimokita Senro Sai happening - a festival for the sunken railway Mustard is built on top of - the room was quiet and cozy. Beds are definitely firm, and the double is probably only just big enough for a couple! But I have stayed here before and likely will stay here again."

"This place is brand new, maybe one or two check ins before us. We are about to check out with our 3 kids, 10,11,12. They loved it🤗 About 5-7 mins walk to the Koenji Station, a couple 24/7 convenient stores a block away. One of the Best and very quick to respond hosts I’ve ever dealt with. Very very clean with extra towels and brand new washing machine. Highly recommend it!"

"Accessibility this area is along the Express train line, 30mins from Shinjuku, hotel amenities are great, surrounding plenty of food and shopping. Recommended!"
