"Very nice hotel"

"Like location, tiny walk to the ghat for walk along Ganges. Didn’t like bathroom and breakfast room was boiling, although there was an opportunity to sit outside with rooftop view of Varanasi "

"Conveniently located guest house overlooking Chauki Ghat. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a good breakfast was provided. The management were very keen to organise a transfer from the train station, although we suspect we may have paid over the odds for it."

"Very conveniently located near the ghats. A bit of noise at night with occasional dog(s) barking. I arrived near the festival of Shiva so it may have been busier at night than normal. Friendly staff."

"While the property was in a narrow lane (very Varanasi like), room was spacious, bed comfortable and amenities top class. You would feel a sense of history (250 year old property, owned by legendary braj bhasha writer) but at the same time a sense of being at home as the current management takes great care of your comfort. "The hotel room was decent, the bathroom was clean and I had hot water running all through the day. The stuff was really nice..they cleaned my room everyday and one of them also carried my luggage all the way up to my cab (~1km away from the hotel) after checking out. The property practically opens into the Munshi ghat, so it is really easy to get there. My main concern was the hotel entrance which I would not recommend for those with limited mobility or the elderly. It's deep inside the Galis...
