"Upon arrival the owner of the apartment asked me to add her on WeChat. She send us specific locations and the entering code, this made it extremely easy to find. The room was perfect. It even had a washing machine and a cocking pit. The apartment is at walking distance from the old street and the mountain is just a 50 min drive with the taxi. All together we had a perfect stay."

"The service is so good at this quirky hotel, it’s hard to give it anything but a solid rating. I wasn’t expecting the Four Seasons, but I’ve seen cleaner toilets in a prison and the bed was rock hard, even by Chinese mattress standards. The place is nicely located to explore Old Street and other parts of the city, but it needs to work on it hygiene and amenities."

"The JOYMOON hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel was amazing for the price. Service checking-in was a bit questionable. No smiles or welcoming - all business! I stayed on the main road side which was very loud with the chronic sounds of vehicle horns of all hours. If you're planning a trip to the Yellow Mountains - JOYMOON is quite a distance from the mountains - short cab ride from hotel to bus (7 CNY) then "local" bus to town outside mountain area...

"Friendly, helpful staff. Great location for traveling from Shanghai to Huangshan City (close to the bus and train station, also about 20 minutes from the high speed train terminal).
