"We booked this hotel as we were celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary in The City! I fell in love with this unique different hotel! Loved how comfortable the beds were and how it was alongside the window so we could see the City Streets. The rooftop was decorated beautifully with plenty of lounging areas. Love the new concept of efficiency hotel, unique ways in saving space. Just wish the had coffee pots in the room. Otherwise , highly recommend!"

"My son and I were traveling and wanted two beds. In NYC that is difficult to find in a boutique hotel for a reasonable rate, but we found cute bunk bed options at Arlo online. The pictures were way better than the actual room. We didn't ever see the sun, we were facing other buildings with zero view. "There were several problems with my room (unfunctioning lamps, no glass/cup in the bathroom, inadequate outlets for charging, but especially VERY lumpy pillows). But the staff was very responsive to fixing (most of) them. These problems shouldn't have existed, but because of the excellent staff, I'm reluctant to rate the hotel lower. I'm sure my experience was unusual, and under better circumstances, I would stay there again."

"The receptionist (a lady) was a bit rude; I understand I was trying to check in early, but there is no need to show a bad attitude toward people who want to spend money at the hotel. Special recognition goes to the cafeteria staff they are amazing and very helpful! Perhaps they should consider working at the front desk! My room had a lovely view but needs a renovation; it looks very worn."

"The design of the hotel is very cute, and we loved the balcony! The room was very small (which is not uncommon in New York), but arranging luggage was a trick. The staff is amazing! Truly wonderful, kind, and fun people. We had some small issues with maintenance during our stay. I did not love that the ac blows very forcefully and made the room very dry. We woke up with rough voices each day. Also there are no desks in the room and no common spaces. The two restaurants are not owned by the hotel...

"People at front desk were very helpful and nice. Location was perfect and The room was clean and property was nice. However, we got a room with a “pull out couch” and one of us planned to sleep on it… this is NOT a viable sleeping arrangement!!! You can not sleep on this. It is worn out and the most uncomfortable spot to lay on!!! Please do not be fooled by an “extra” sleeping spot. Your back and legs and hips will be extremely angry !!"
