"Excellent trip from start to finish. We arrived early, but the rooms were already ready. And we got a fantastic upgrade! The concierge helped us plan out our sightseeing for the following day, as well as made a great dinner recommendation and reservation. Drinks and food at Peacock Alley and the Caley bar were excellent. The service was wonderful - I wish I could remember all the staffs’ name who assisted us. Thanks for an excellent stay! "

"Best shower we had on the whole trip! I'd give it 5 stars just for that, but it's also right in the middle of the action on the royal mile, and seems to be competently run. One warning, though: It looks super close to the train station on the map, but there are a couple hundred stairs between here and there. Save yourself and pay £10 for a taxi, or at least take a bus. "Always an amazing experience at YOTEL in Edinburgh. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed here 3 times over the past 5 months. Never had any issues and the room has always been great. The only let down is cleanliness, there are those parts of the room that are missed, such as corners being filled with dirt/dust, Linen being stained, and floors not being vacuumed. It’s the small attention to detail for the cleaning that is a bit of a let down. However, it is generally clean. The location is great, it’s central enough to be able to go into the various parts of Edinburgh. There is breakfast available, however for the price you can have a much nicer breakfast elsewhere in Edinburgh. I would only choose the breakfast out of sheer convenience. YOTEL’s are set up to be straightforward and convenient. The systems to check in are great, if you don’t want to interact with other humans there’s generally no need. "
