Do not stay here!!!!
Our hotel room was dirty and we found a sex toy under the mattress. The manager refused to give us a refund, and I have yet to have my call returned from him.

Hidden Gem indowntown Raton
What a delightful gem hidden in downtown Raton! The property is older but very clean and well maintained. We even had a steam shower in the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay here next time we stop in Raton

Everything was great, except the WI-FI, and I understand that this was an area-wide problem at the time, so no hit on the hotel. Great staff, great service, great visit.

Great for an overnight
This hotel crosses a street, so your stay may differ. Wi-Fi and ice are only available on one side. Staff is super friendly and breakfast is good. Rooms are clean, bed is comfy.

Old motel, musty smelling
The person, assuming owner, was not friendly at all. The bed was lumpy and sagged in the middle. The courtyard is brighter then daylight all night long. The room overall was clean, plenty of supplies ie soap shampoo coffee prep, good. It’s about right for a really cheap place to stay.

Great little motel
I stay at this motel every time I go through Raton. I love their Steam Showers and the management are the nicest, friendliest, accommodating people.

This is a nice old style place to stay
This place is a good place to stay. The rooms are clean, from the sheets to the bathroom. The price is very reasonable. The conditions are much better than locations I have stayed at twice the price. I would recommend the place if you are looking for a good place at a reasonable price.

Confusion
They had no record of my reservation. Expedia said it would be $46 plus tax. They charged me $52 plus tax. I had my reservation number but no other info. Not a big deal as it was only $6 more but I was fortunate they had a room.

Unexpectedly nice.
Unexpectedly nice. Clean and we'll maintained. Doesn't look that great driving up, but very nice once you get in. Everything clean and breakfast was great. Very good value.

Very unique, clean, comfy
What a unique hotel! Like a blast from the past, very quaint and preserved but CLEAN! I was traveling with my mom and we both slept very well on our beds and the room was quiet. I loved it. Try the steam shower! It's a crazy but fun experience!

Fair Place for a Low Price
For the price we didn’t expect much. The place was ok for the price but it’s very dated and our room needed a thorough cleaning. The bathroom fan had a lot of dust and mold built up in it. The drapes needed replacing. “Again, you get what you pay for.”

Cleaning crew needs to start cleaning when people check out so they aren't cleaning and pushing around the noisy cart at night when customers are trying to relax. If she needs help to finish sooner then hire someone else or management could help

I stayed here overnight while passing through. The hotel is old but has been remodeled not too long ago. The room was comfortable but dated. The walls are thin but my neighbors turned off their TV before I was ready to sleep so it wasn't a problem. Overall though I had a pleasant experience and would stay here again.
