At check in behind a stupid covid era cheap swinging piece of full plastic, they tried to charge me $250.00 deposit because I live within 60 miles. I said no, nothing said that. Im willing to pay the regurlar $100, but not 250. The young African lady Ill call #1 who was cheching me in just stopped and looked at the white woman co worker who seemed more senior. Ill call her #2. When 2 was finished (which she shouod have completed kudos to her) she said something to 1. Then 1 did some software actions and said insert your card. I ask for what, saying you already have my card and she said, no you didnt book with us. Oh ok I forgot about that. I ask how much are you charging me. $250. I said No nothing in any material says that. 1 just stopped again and looked disgusted at 2. So 2 ask me do you have your confirmation and i said yes, but i left my phone in the car. But it doesnt say anything about that. Im well aware many lodging compainies in Myrtle Beach dont allow locals at all. I was here with the Myrtle Beach Hospitality Association the day this property opened, i know lodging in Myrtle Beach. 2 then said, since I can't prove our policy now because we dont know who you booked with, Ill knock it down to our standard $100.00. Then 2 said, only this time, like I would ever be back after that treatment. If they rely on 3rd parties to relay this local damage deposit of $250.00 they need to do a better job ensuring they actually show it with a ckear reasonable presentation that

Very nice, helpful staff. The premises were a bit worn around the edges, but everything was thoroughly cleaned and there were no signs of lax maintenance. The pool area was quite clean and nice. Edges of everything were very clean. Parking lot was clean and well-monitored. Breakfast was simple but hot, fresh, and tasty. A bit expensive for the age, but what doesn’t cost more than you like to pay these days?

Check-in Time starts @ 4 pm, I never experienced so late check-in times in my life. Guests don't just come to stay in the Hotel for a sleepover but also to relax. Though most of the guests do check out around 10 am, 4 pm is seriously too late. The location of the hotel is approx. 15-20 mins drive from Myrtle beach while booking it appeared to be closer to the beach.

The Good: Property was clean! Good breakfast eggs and sausages were plenty full and warm. My son loved that he could make his own waffles. They also offered English muffins&bread for toasts, yogurt&granola, cereal&milk so plenty of options. The Bad: Pool water was very COLD! My son could only swim for 20 minutes before he had to get out due to his lips being blue from how cold it was. The hot tub also wasn’t working. Although breakfast was good I’d like to see some fresh fruit options (apple, orange, banana). The beds were ok need bigger pillows! Need a shelf in the shower so you don’t have to put your shower stuff on the floor. Someone else must of been showering in the next room as the water temperature was constantly changing temperatures while I was showering. Going from very cold to very hot back and forth. Although I had a few suggestions I’d definitely stay here again!

Hotel was generally clean and staff was very friendly and accomodating. Room was rough around the edges, messy dywall, gaps in the base boards, toilet sitting away from the wall. Rolling shower glass door had to be tightened. Electrical fixture sockets not finished. Room furniture and bathroom furniture very clean. Detailing on walls etc. Need fine tuning.

Just in town for a quick weekend trip. Room was clean and the bed was super comfy. I slept better on this trip than i do in my own bed at home. We didnt partake in the free breakfast but it looked like many others did. Convenient location, friendly staff, all in all, a good stay, no issues to report.

The staff was helpful and made accommodations but the rooms were not clean the linen wasn’t clean it was trash in the trash can from previous guest crumbs in the floor finger prints on glass the tv went out the second day of booking I will not be back!

The suite was spacious. It had a separate sleeping quarters which was nice. We wasn't quite used to that but it was cool. They do charge to take your breakfast plate to your room. Otherwise, the stay was very nice.
