At check in behind a stupid covid era cheap swinging piece of full plastic, they tried to charge me $250.00 deposit because I live within 60 miles. I said no, nothing said that. Im willing to pay the regurlar $100, but not 250. The young African lady Ill call #1 who was cheching me in just stopped and looked at the white woman co worker who seemed more senior. Ill call her #2. When 2 was finished (which she shouod have completed kudos to her) she said something to 1. Then 1 did some software actions and said insert your card. I ask for what, saying you already have my card and she said, no you didnt book with us. Oh ok I forgot about that. I ask how much are you charging me. $250. I said No nothing in any material says that. 1 just stopped again and looked disgusted at 2. So 2 ask me do you have your confirmation and i said yes, but i left my phone in the car. But it doesnt say anything about that. Im well aware many lodging compainies in Myrtle Beach dont allow locals at all. I was here with the Myrtle Beach Hospitality Association the day this property opened, i know lodging in Myrtle Beach. 2 then said, since I can't prove our policy now because we dont know who you booked with, Ill knock it down to our standard $100.00. Then 2 said, only this time, like I would ever be back after that treatment. If they rely on 3rd parties to relay this local damage deposit of $250.00 they need to do a better job ensuring they actually show it with a ckear reasonable presentation that
