The beds were hard and uncomfortable. I was told i could get a coffee anytime but got rebuffed several times at 5/5.15am.

Overall was a great stay, washing machine wasn’t working during my stay, at no fault of anyone on staff, and the bathroom outside my room wasn’t the most clean. Staff was friendly and helpful

Unfortunately it was a very noisy night so this gets off to a bad start. There is no air conditioning so on a hot summer night we needed to open the window. The noise from outside and then inside at 3am resulted in little sleep. Beds are not comfortable. The hotel is cheap compared to other hotels and I guess you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately, we don’t have air conditioning and whilst we have been experiencing some of the hottest weather we’ve had in months we do take a few steps to try and make our hostel as comfortable as possible, but it is clear from reading your review that sadly your stay way impacted but the hot weather despite our best efforts. Stayed here as a family of 4 in private room with bathroom. Very comfortable for one night, only criticism is the shower room smelled of drains but it was all very clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of space and friendly staff. We will definitely use again.

Great accommodation and value!
Great stay. Private room for young family (4, 7 and 9). Clean and tidy. Very helpful staff. For the price we paid of under £80 a night we could not complain at all. Location to park/London Zoo ideal. Tube just at end of road. Would stay there again even if it were to be more expensive. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a comfortable stay in London at a good price

The bathrooms were covered in mold. The shower was either scathing hot or ice cold, nothing in between. Staff was ok but it didn’t seem like any of them had a firm grasp on their job. All the furniture was worn down, my bunk didn’t even have a light our outlet like everyone else’s in the room.

The best hostel I’ve stay in the UK
I would of like the option of reserving a top or bottom bunk bed, as one was reserved but I don’t remember be given this option. Additionally I wish I had been made more aware of the ID requirements as there was almost a issue as I forgot my passport and only have my bank card for ID. Apart from that a lovely place that I am planning on visiting again

Yha review I booked five nights at the YHA but ended up having to check out and find another place to stay after two nights because I couldn’t get much sleep at night. In my room there were a few guests who always came back past midnight and move around loudly to wake me up. One night they were up until 2am and so was I :( The hostel staff was kind to offer me to switch to another room, but I didn’t want to risk not getting sleep for another night so I declined. I was not offered any refund. That said, on the positive side, the hostel is at a very central location, has a nice common area, and the bed is comfortable.
