We were disappointed at check in, I had requested two rooms, one with two beds. We had two rooms, with one bed each, forcing one of my sons to sleep on the floor till a room became available 2 nights later. We knew the rooms were going to be small, but they were smaller than we anticipated, with no closet, nor dresser, and only a couple hangers. I asked for more, but never received any.
We booked a room with a television, and free Wi-Fi. From the first night, the TV didn’t work. I made them aware, and they said they would fix it, took them 6 days. The Wi-Fi was spotty at best, I was able to connect, but apparently the speed was not much faster than dial-up. I tried to work from my room, and ended up setting up cellular service through my phone, and used that instead, at added cost. Then there were the 5-6 nights of false fire alarms, one night I can understand - but every night?? Come on people! Oh, and there was the nightly meetings in front of the hotel; for conversations that went till late - and as there was no A/C - our windows being open made their conversation, our conversation too. Very annoying!
There were some good points, several people at the front desk were helpful, friendly, and seemed to care about our concerns, and that helped. They provided valuable advice, some excellent drivers (except the last one who overcharged us) - and I want to thank them. But, some of them seemed almost tired of us, and that hurt.
