Our room was spacious, very clean, came with a fridge, hairdryer and toiletries, and the beds were super comfortable. Our only complaints about the room was that the tannoy at Liverpool Lime Street station was pretty loud and we could still hear it even with the window closed, our toilet didn't flush properly and there...

"Dirty walls, couldn't check in on time, broken handles in room. Photos are nothing like what is on Expedia. Walls had dirty wipe marks all over them. I felt my skin crawl just sitting on the bed. I booked somewhere else straight away. Horrible place!"

"Hilton-Hampton hotel stay was made by a young women/staff member Ms Demi-Lee. She was just amazing, totally outstanding, bubbly, sassy, caring, full of information, full of chat, kind and is just perfect for this type of job. Bed comfortable, room size just perfect with a settee. View over the docks. Breakfast was good, but just needs a little bit of order."

"The Richmond used to be a great property but feels neglected of late. Room given initially was so smelly, asked the manager and to his credit changed the room to something more pleasant. Overall, the cleanliness is not great, lots of visible damage to the hotel, but only stayed for one night so made do. Have stayed before an the hotel does have a nice wing which is newer but rest of it was poor and it's the second time I've needed a room change. "
