The young lady at check in was phenomenal. She double checked the room and turned on the heat before issuing me a room key. She was as very accommodating and made the visit extremely pleasant.

Not the Days Inn of Old
Ten to fifteen years ago, I stayed at Days Inn's almost exclusively because they were really nice, clean, new or recently renovated, had daily maid service, breakfast, comfy lobbies, and no creepy workers. I was quite shocked when I pulled off the road and landed at this Days Inn in Lavonia, GA. The lady who greeted me at the front desk was very nice and cordial, but that's where the good part of the experience ended. The entire place looked like it needed to be raked over and hauled to the landfill. There were broken down and wrecked cars parked in the spaces in front of my unit. Some were loaded with belongings that identified them as belonging to people that were down on their luck. The door to the unit was so far out-of-whack that there was a one-inch wide gap down the side that was letting in cold air and sunlight. The floors were dirty, the furniture was dirty and stained, and the bedspread was so stained and discolored it looked unhealthy. The bed sheets were no better. Yellowed and stained made me think I needed to bring out the ultra-violet light! While I was unpacking my stuff, an older man, looking like maintenance, came up to the windows, put his hands around his face and peered in the window to see what I was doing. I yelled at him, "Hey, what do you think you're doing?" and he pecked on the window and walked away. No daily maid service and no toilet paper refills were not a surprise. The toilet inside of the shower, though, that was just too much. DON'T!!!

Bad bug problem
The room that i had ended up having dead roaches in the drawers. Not to mention while i was in my room eating, i had roaches running across the table. I went to the front deak and told them to cancel my second night, the staff asked if everything was ok. I informed them about the bug problem. They said they were canceling my second night, the next day i went to the office and they still hadnt canceled my second night. My dad had a room as well and while taking a shower in his room,bugs were running in the bathroom.

I needed a handicapped room toilet was a great height the bed came up to my waist. I couldn't get into the bed without help . There was no bars in the shower i refused to shower i was to afraid that i would fall.

The room was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long, there were cockroaches running across the bed. I asked the first night to have the room cleaned and was reassured that it would be and it wasn’t. I then asked to leave and was met with cursing and extremely bad attitudes from the receptionist and the manager on the phone (she refused to come to the office to help with the situation) please don’t stay here it’s gross and the people running it are very rude. They also advertised free breakfast but refuse to provide it.

The room was dirty. Dust everywhere, and broken hangers in drawers. The fridge was leaking water. We couldnt take a shower because the shower was too dirty and didnt look sanitary. There was holes and rust. The employees were very loud throughout the night and early morning. I was told they live there. The cleaning people tried to come into our room before we checked out. We told them we were not ready, but the lady was very persistant. There was no breakfast as advertised, and the juice machines inly had water.

The staff was nice but the property was dirty and unsecure. We didn't even get a key to our room because the lock didn't work. The keypad to the door of the room was literally held on with duct tape and the front desk staff told us to let them know if we need to come or go so they can let us back in.

I was traveling for work and had my wife and two daughters with me. The only reason we stayed there was because it had a swimming pool. Here it is the middle of July and the swimming pool is not open and they're not going to open it up this year. That is why I gave it such a low rating

I arrived a day early for a reunion on nearby Lake Hartwell. I chose this property due to Wyndham affiliation and price. I was shocked by the drastic difference between photos and reality. The property is very run down and outdated. I booked a non-smoking King on Expedia but staff said they did not have one available, so they gave me a twin room on second floor instead. No elevator. Judging from clientele and loiterers, I quickly realized I would need to bring all of my gear into the room (kayak, fishing tackle, etc) or risk theft. The pool - which seems to be shared between the Days Inn and an adjacent equally nasty property has no water in it. Bedspreads were stained, but no bedbugs that night. The office could not give me a receipt because the printer was broken. On a positive note, the air conditioner worked well.

They had no food for breakfast only coffee and OJ, the room was worn out, mattress had a huge stain on it, debris under the bed and behind cabinets hole in bathroom wall and mold on shower curtain. The room was supposed to non smoking but it reeked of cigarette smoke.

The room wasn’t horrible but the room floors looked and felt like they were never mopped. Wall were dirty and room was dusty. Could use a good wiped down. Bed was good and clean so was the toilet and sink. Ok stay for just one night, In and out.

I've stay here many times before. This hotel went way downhill. It's very dirty, door does not close properly, walls looks like mold is growing out them, furniture is old and stained, bedding and the towels were old and had wholes in them and not washed right good. Still a lot out issues at this property to write about. also no one came to clean my room out of the four day stay. I wanted my money back.
