"I stayed at this property as part of a 2 week break to Scotland and to prepare for the Edinburgh marathon. The staff were friendly and efficient, choice of food in the Restaurant was good and I used the gym and swimming pool which were also very good! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Portobello beach and either a long walk or bus you are into the centre where all the attractions are. "

"This is the real castle deal! We were thrilled be allocated room 4 in the large turret of the castle. A red four postered bed themed room with all the glory of days gone by. An elderly couple who couldn’t speak English sat in the front lobby, often.
