Hotel has a problem with lifts. They are small and slow for the size of the building . One was out of order when I checked in and it took me 30 minutes to take my turn to reach my 9th floor room. Later that evening both lifts were out of order so 9th floor was only accessible by stairs. I complained and suggested a complementary breakfast which was granted but maybe could have offered to me anyway

Excellent location, clean modern decor - loved the bathroom. Staff were very helpful. Parking was a challenge as spaces are tight but good to have option there for easy access to hotel.

The room with balcony was beautiful, clean and comfortable. There were some issues though, the iron didn't work at all and the ironing board was faulty. The casting option on the TV was hit and miss but the WiFi was very good. The bed was very comfortable and the Aircon efficient. The main problem was the face that upon our arrival on Saturday tea time, the lifts were not working. We were on the top floor and with luggage having to climb many stairs (two flights for each floor) was problematic. We're both relatively fit but I have joint problems which caused pain to me all day Sunday pretty much ruining my trip. We were unable to go out to eat on Saturday night due to not being able to get back to our room. The lifts were fixed by about midnight but failed again overnight Sunday to Monday which meant going down to breakfast and then back upstairs to relax before leaving was a nightmare all over again. I would not usually complain about such a thing but it really ruined our whole reason for travelling to Glasgow and caused me pain for the entire weekend. The desk clerk subbed our breakfasts as an apology which I guess is something but we spent a lot of money on this trip and feel pretty let down by what happened.

The staff is friendly, and the property is clean. Our room was accessible for those with disabilities, even though we didn't request it. I got the impression they all were. Maybe it's a Glasgow (or Scotland) thing for new construction. It made the bathroom a little awkward. But if it makes life easier for someone with a disability, I'm all for it. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant staff was friendly.
