"My partner and I stayed here as a very belated birthday treat and the hotel was amazing from the moment it came in to view. Our room was in the main house and full of period grace and style. The bathroom was clean with a lovely bath and powerful shower. Breakfast was delicious, the largest buffet selection possible, it was all perfectly fresh and regularly being topped up. The grounds are stunning too. Lovely first floor bar open until 1am with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the last of the summer evenings. We have already said we look forward to going back in the future."

"Lovely stay at the hotel. Helpful kind welcome staff on reception. Lots of space in our junior suite. Lovely gym. Had a lovely meal in the evening and were impressed with the standard. The staff were lovely and accommodating with the kids. The grounds could do we a tidy up to be able to use the outdoor tables and pergola etc. The breakfast was nice but we arrived at 9.20 and felt like it was the end of breakfast although it said there was breakfast till 10. We wouldn’t want to waste food but it would have been nice to been offered to get anything that had run out such as bacon pastries etc but we had to ask for this, only a small thing but would have made us few more welcome for breakfast etc. overall we had a lovely stay and would come back. "

"Clean, neat and tidy. No real 'bar' area, basically some seating in the reception area which was disappointing given such a large property. Could have a fab cocktail bar with garden access if they gave up one of the 'function' rooms. "
