Alaska Hotels

Was apprehensive after reading the reviews on this hotel. We booked it because Expedia had a special price. We stayed one night as we were going to Seward the following day to catch Celebrity Millenium. The staff at the front desk and in restaurant were friendly and polite. The manager helped us get our suitcases on board the bus tour that was taking us to Seward. The hotel is located on the shore of Lake Hood, which is a seaplane airport and part of Anchorage Airport. It was wonderful seeing the seaplanes take off and returning on the lake. The hotel is under renovation outside and therefore they moved their patio on their grassy aera near the lake. It was very popular, people were waiting in line to get a table. I would stay at the Anchorage Millenium again.

We checked in at 11:30pm after a long day. The man who checked us in was very kind and helpful. We thought the bedding was amazing. Best pillows ever in a hotel.

Very pleased with Ramada-2 nights stay while waiting to transfer to Seward for our cruise. Excellent value for what we received. Breakfast had a great selection of breads,cereal,fruit,Waffle maker-hard boiled eggs. We did the coastal bike ride and visited the shopping mall. Eat next door at the slippery salmon. Free shuttle from airport and then to the train station. Great start to the holiday.

The customer service was very much to my liking. Had a little glitch with my key card, and front desk got right on it. I will ALWAYS recommend this hotel. Thanks for the great service :D

For our needs, we could not have asked for more. The people were very friendly and helpful; the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained; the free breakfasts were nice, and the food we had at other times from the in-house restaurant (Tubby's) was very good. The Business Center made it easy to do web check-in and obtain our boarding passes for the flight home, and the in-room wifi also worked well. Finally, we preferred to stay in a place which had a somewhat "rustic" feel to it, and the Regency had enough of that to make it feel "Alaskan" without sacrificing comfort or quality. We would definitely stay there again!

This hotel is near by the river. Since it is also downyown, it is near by many of the business so you can walk to them fron the hotel. Also, there is a park within walking distance. Furthermore, the food offered in the restaurant of its basement is delicious.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it is really nice. The room this time was on the ground floor which did not have the view we had last time. Beakfast was really nice and quite substantial

Enjoyed the hotel experience ; it was beautiful and clean and had great service.
