"Our stay at The Castle Hotel was a birthday celebration that family joined us for on the second day.It couldn’t have been better. We were given a little private dining room for our evening meal and the service was so warm but not intrusive. We enjoyed our first dinner with really good 4 juicy scallops. As we enjoyed them so much we ordered them again on the 2nd night but we only got 2 each and an onion bajee. Everything else was so perfect so we couldn’t complain! Thankyou everyone concerned...

"Richie and her team at the Crowne Plaza were outstanding and I’m very thankful for the assistance they provided me. I had an accident and hurt my leg, spent hours in A&E and arrived at the hotel about 2.30am with a flight out the next morning. They quickly arranged an accessible room for me, helped me settle into the room, arranged wheelchair service with the airport and checked I was ok in the morning. "Really nice looking place from the photos. It’s tidy and nice, but it’s old so they have rug inside and that feels disgusting to me. I suggest ripping it out and putting hard wood, it feels a lot cleaner. Staff were polite and super helpful. 🌷 The only other thing is that thankfully you can include breakfast in your purchase online, but I doubt out it’s £14. That’s so over priced in my opinion! If you are staying there it should be a better rate or deal. Staff were very nice "
