The hotel and staff was very sweet and helpful but I did specifically book the Torre Dorada because I was under the impression we could be picked up for our tours, hosted by Lima Tours, but I was informed then evening before by a guide we had to meet them in the main square. "Charming hotel in an excellent location, a few minutes away from the main square. Even though San Blas is a very lively part of Cusco, the hotel is very peaceful and quiet. The room wasn’t luxurious but was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and always happy to help. "Location is a bit far from Plaza de Armas, where all the restaurants and action is. You could take Uber which would be very cheap and worth the savings for the hotel. Breakfast is included and wifi was great. They had a water station as well. Front desk staff was not in the best of moods, probably one of the colder exchanges I've had in all of Peru, but bang for buck this place is not bad. Just not close to anything"
