"Very quirky place to stay, we thought the room being behind the bookcase was really cool! I wasn’t as a fan of the photos on the ceiling though Overall I can’t complain about the place, the staff were nice and the shared bathrooms were perfectly clean. "Although the interior of the property is pretty dated, it was very clean, comfortable bed, the staff were very accomodating, wonderful hot shower and the bathroom was fairly new compared to the rest of the room. The room we were put in had NO view to speak of as our windows were 5 feet off the ground so you couldnt see anything down, only up. Be sure to request a room with FULL WINDOWS. It was a little claustrophobic. But since we didnt spend much time in the room as we were exploring the city, it wasnt a real deal breaker."

"Convenient location in the center of Amsterdam. About 30-40min walk from Amsterdam Central. Trams stop right in front of the hotel. Walkable to main tourist attractions. Stayed in a nice and spacious top floor with attic ceiling. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Direct us to a place that helped book our last-minute tour to Keukenhof garden during the flower parade weekend frenzy! "
