"Overall the experience of the hotel was good. However in the shower- the temperature of the water does not go any higher. I know the breakfast was free. It was very basic. The hotel would have got 5 stars if there was more of an options of food. There is not many options of buses available to get to the hotel which was quite tricky. "This hotel is a little past its prime but the room was spacious, well appointed, clean and attractive. The bed was a little spongy, but that’s all about preference. The lobby and dining room are attractive and the breakfast was good. My only complaint is that after leaving Edinburg, I had to take a tram/plane/bus/train to get to Cardiff and I arrived four hours before check in. It would have been nice if they agreed to let me check in at least an hour early but I was given a firm “no”."
