"L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"

As seen in brochure and all photos of the property they give prominence to the pool, but visiting the place in the last week of June and they tell you the pool is not in use, does not look nice at all. "This hotel is on a unique, secluded location, with the beach as if it is your own property. Breakfast and dinner setting is wonderful and the staff couldn´t be better. The rooms are a bit basic, but they are renewing them this winter. Next time on Sardinia, we´ll be back for sure. "
