Italy Hotels

I read quite a few Trip adviser reviews and was a little apprehensive but I took the advise of many and requested a room over the garden at the rear with no adjoining doors. The hotel wrote back within 24hrs with no problem at all and on our arrival sure enough they obliged with both requests. The continental style breakfast was excellent and consistent over the three days. Plenty to choose from with excellent coffee.

May 2013 We were greeted by Mateo & treated superbly, he really made you feel welcomed. Can't say enough about Mateo he was very helpful. We arrived before check in time, our room was ready & were given the keys to our room. The room was very spacious & clean, breakfast was excellent, full american buffet. The beds were very comfortable and the best pillows going. Bathroom was large and had a great shower. Located 5-10 minute walk from the train station and the hop-on-hop off bus.Felt very safe going out at night. A lot of places to eat in the area. Would stay here again. Even though it was pricey, you get what you pay for and it was worth it. I would recommend staying here.

We arrived early, stored our luggage and went for lunch. Our room on the fourth floor overlooking the courtyard was ready when we returned. This was a nice quiet location. The interior of the building is very up to date, as was the room itself. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of almost everything (a good walk). We were going to go on a HOP ON/Off bus for which we purchased a ticket from the hotel but were never able to get on as it was always full. The hotel kindly refunded the money for the ticket. This is why we walked everywhere (although the Termini station is only a block away and from there you can access the Metro). There are plenty of restaurants close by. A buffet breakfast is served at the hotel from 7 am which was quite good.

Everyone was pleasant, the people with breakfast were very helpful and took great care of us.

Reception most helpful and most spoke good English. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent. I have never seen such a choice of croissants and the service was good. I would strongly recommend this hotel. Situation a few minutes walk from Duomo square and there was a varied choice of restaurants to suit all tastes. We liked Milan, but the hop on hop off bus was infrequent and was really an hourly service.

We the thought the Hotel was charming and the perfect location easy walking distance to all the main attractions.

We read other reviews & were afraid we wouldn't like it. Have no fear, this place is great! Yes, all carpets in the hallway are torn, smell bad, & stained. BUT room interior is totally refreshed. We had 2 rooms on different floors & they were clean and pleasant for our stay of 5 nights. I purchased a standard w/2 twins & a deluxe with a queen via Expedia and all of us enjoyed the spacious rooms. There was no problem at checkin nor at breakfast. The staff at the desk & housekeeping are very helpful. Marcello at the desk is the best! He is always smiling & gives 110% and that is important. Also, it's best to get to breakfast before 9:30am. They start picking up the buffet at that time, but will still get you the items you want until the advertised 10:30am closing. You just have to ask.

Great location, clean,light and spacious room. Excellent staff & a breakfast service to die for. Definitely will go back again.
