I liked the Hotel. But the girl behind the desk was not very nice when we told her the room upstair is next to a group of kids that were staying on the same floor. We are in our 60's, We were going to bed. She finally put us on a floor more quiet.
Very thin walls. You can hear everything. Door mechanism causes doors to slam very loudly.

Stay was great comfortable bed, clean, great breakfast, friendly and helpful employees, will probably make Hampton our first choice from now on if rates stay within reason.
Everything was nice and new! Impressed with complimentary wine in the evening and substantial hot breakfast items. I did not like the room external AC unit however, it was very loud when on and automatically powered on and off. When it went off it was too hot and then when it went back on it was too cold! I also did not like that they only service the room every other day. We were there only two days but I don't appreciate having to look at overflowing small trash cans and a pile of dirty towels when I'm paying for a hotel room. Mixed feelings
Property was way overpriced and was being renovated. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns & Suites and this by far sis not meet expectations.

The staff at the front desk was great. But when getting to the room the sofa bed mattress was still rapped in plastic never opened, not sheets or bed linens or pillows for the pull out bed. Even though my reservation was for 5 people only two towels in room. The shower barely worked. You felt as if you would fall through the bathtub due to hollow spot under bath. Room not painted all the way. I know they are doing construction but for the price I paid for one night the conditions were horrible. Also ac not on in room so had to wait for room to cooldown before getting to sleep. With multiple kids playing softball that day it was hard to get comfortable.
The hotel is right off the interstate, but to leave the hotel and go anywhere you have to get back on the interstate. There are no side streets connected to the hotel.
It took me 4-5 hours to get the internet to work on my laptop, the A/C was running really loud, the room was not clean no sign of dusting. The pillows were filled with cotton fluff, not able to use the pillows, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The hallway to my room smelled like mold and spoiled eggs!
We were not told or it was not mentioned when we booked that the hotel is under renovation. Upon check in the front desk, girl was not polite at all, didn’t tell us about breakfast or what time breakfast was and put us in a second floor room when typically you are traveling with a pet they put you in a first floor room. I even asked for a first floor room and she said, all the rooms were pet friendly, but some dogs are terrified of elevators
Halls and stairs not kept up. Our hair dryer and coffee maker did not work. Clock not set for daylight savings time. When staying in Brenham we will be using other options. First bad experience with Hampton.
