"Had an impromptu night away over Bank Holiday. We picked the 1st sunny weekend and Matlock was packed with tourists. The hotel is nice, reception were very pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. TV didn't work, but we weren't in the room to watch TV. My only small complaint is the bar is open all day, but it can be a bit tricky to find someone to serve. It's also only open until 22:00 and the restaurant stops serving food at 20:00. It would have been nice to have a few nights here...

We went for my son’s birthday and he had a great time in the pool and looking at the football training pitches. Very clean accomodation , tea, coffee etc, bath with overhead shower, good thick towels the room was quiet cheap overnight at £43 pub/restaurant on site for breakfast and meals, mcdonalds 2 mins walk away. Good very clean comfortable good stay. "
