This beautiful beach is 45 miles north of Inverness. On the day we visited there was a steady stream of dog walkers but that did nothing to spoil the natural drama of this incredible place.

The only thing that really upset us around iur stay was when we were using tbe hot tub and garden area a local women came around and started shihting at us in her PJs to keep the noise down.

Platform 1864, Tain in Scotland. A typical town in the Highlands, Tain is a great place to wander around taking in the atmosphere. We visited the museum which has many examples of Tain silverware and a great insight into local history. Here's a shot of Platform 1864, a cafe at the railway station. We spent time here relaxing over lunch. There's a very good menu and the owner has made a great job in the styling of the interior.
