There is loud music from the restaurant next door every night. There is no shower as such. You have a handheld sprayer in a bathtub. Not good if you aren’t as agile as you once were. You cannot be driven to reception. You are dropped off in the street and a very busy street at that. So looking forward to staying in a traditional hotel which it is but overall we were disappointed.

Excellent property, we loved the stay. Staff, restaurant, food. everything was good. Thank for so much for amazing hospitality.

Absolutely amazing first stop on our honeymoon. Service is unmatched. Doesn’t feel commercialized, it feels authentic. A true cultural experience. The rooms are stunning and the grounds are equally so.

Property is a convenient 5 minute walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants and cafes and shopping all around. It has an on-site rooftop restaurant/bar with excellent food/drinks, rooftop pool (although no shade/umbrellas), gym, separate rooftop lounge area with shade (very spacious!), excellent staff…unfortunately not all rooms have washing machines-there was only one washer on my floor in hallway…only some units have washers- this didn’t seem clear when I booked…inside my unit, material looked cheap- namely the floors and cabinets. There were no basic kitchen supplies like drying rack, dish soap or paper towels/napkins even though there was a kitchen with microwave, plates, cutlery, etc. There was construction going on across the way during the daytime fyi- although this didn’t bother me. All in all, I would give this place an 8 out of 10. Excellent staff but units are lacking in basic supplies and interior has cheap material.

This property is absolutely stunning. A perfect utopia in the middle of the jungle. The entire hotel and staff are professional and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A great value for the money. The breakfast was very good and the entire staff is always extremely courteous and respectful. I took advantage of the gym, but wish it had an elliptical machine. Traffic in the area is very intense. Crossing the street requires a leap of faith, but most motorists will yield to pedestrians.
