Great Nostalgic hotel, beautifully appointed rooms and the location was perfect to visit the city of Edinburgh.

Daily included housekeeping was never followed through, which was hugely disappointing when you’re a family of five. It’s always nice to come back to a clean room after a long day of sightseeing. Front desk was very friendly, though.

Incredible location. Massive bed and clean room with all amenities. Pool and spa were lush and such a treat to have on site. Staff were always helpful and welcoming. Would stay again.

I had requested a quiet room on a high floor I ended up medium height directly over very noisy rose street. This was disappointing considering how far in advance I had booked - (3 months +). And my room smelled like cigarettes. And they restocked my coffee with an open bag of grounds - (previously used). And never restocked water. All disappointing to me for the cost. Thank you.
