"The Bellerive au Lac delivers on its classic luxury promise. Perfect location on the lake edge near the Altstadt, and near the Opera and a short walk to the Kunsthaus. History, great vibe and food in the restaurant, tastefully classic decorated rooms. Communications with the hotel through the in-room tablet is slightly odd that replaces a phone, but very effective and fast in practice. Overall, this is a great place to stay while touristing in Zürich."

The staff were extraordinarily welcoming and genuinely friendly and engaged at all times. The room was very clean and comfortable with good amenities. The WIFI was spotty at times but mostly the first night - it was ok after that. The elevator is tiny but so quaint. It works perfectly well and that’s all we wanted. We had zero issues...
