"Clean rooms "

"A clean and safe place to stay in Des Moines, especially by the airport. They also offer a park and stay deal, for those who need to fly out but leave their car somewhere. The staff were extremely kind, but we didn't have a pleasant experience with the lady running the breakfast in the morning. She could have been tired, but was short with us trying to make a waffle. The rooms are outdated, but in good condition for the most part. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area, which was also...

"We had to leave before they served breakfast and the young lady at checkout, Jaya, said they would have muffins, bagels and granola bars to grab on the way out. They did not and the individual at the front desk said she had no idea why Jaya would say that🙁and that the owner would not allow it."

Our first day we went to breakfast early, our second day we went later and the food quality was still great which means they were on top of it!! the lobby is beautiful, the hotels location was perfect we walked everywhere all weekend! "Spacious suite with door between bedroom and living areas. On check-in, Parker explained our parking options (rapidly, with an obvious intent to suggest we pay for the $20/daily unlimited in-and-out hotel parking; with a statement that he didn't know the cost of parking on the street (it's $1.25/hour from 9 am to 9 pm; free overnight) and that the ramp across the way was $10/day with no in and out. That made it sound as if we would pay $10 each time we pulled out of that ramp, which is not...

"The breakfast menu was awesome! Waffles, fresh fruit, eggs-small scrambled and hard boiled, bacon, toast, juices, coffee and more! Best continental I’ve seen in awhile! The hotel was spotless, as was our room! Excellent and all staff was very cheerful and helpful!! Our dog loved it there too!!"

"A front receptionist was repeatedly rude to the customers she managed over the phone. She was argumentative and denigrated her customers on the phone….including me. She argued with how I made my reservation - a phone call to Hilton reservations- she stated was made through a third party. That sort of rudeness required a re-think of her people-facing role. She became frustrated, her voices was raised, argumentative and simply rude. Never should she have access to customers. "

"I traveled for work and the staff was friendly from beginning to end. Each person, from valet to front desk were pleasant to work with. The rooms were not carpeted, and instead had linoleum wood flooring, which I was fine with and honestly preferred. Bathrooms were clean, and the area was easy to walk to and from the events center. I'd stay here again. "
