"The Alex was charming, clean and centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The views are spectacular, especially from the rooftop restaurant/bar. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderfully accommodating and polite. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers going to Piraeus."

"Beautiful scenery but hotel let down by dated rooms, lack of communication internally (we asked four times for our sofa bed to be made for our three year old), overall run down, pool side needs work, rooms need updating - considering what it could be!! Buffet food horrendous and expensive!"

"The hotel and the rooms were awesome. Very clean and well appointed. The pool and the pool bar were great. The beach experience was a negative experience. They changed €45 for two chairs and an umbrella. The service was horrible. The waiters on the beach never checked on us and the acted offended when we walked up to the bar for service. Awful, don’t waste your time on the beach area. Otherwise, the stay was excellent."

"I had not stayed at the property for some years since it was the Westin. The upgrades were fantastic. Beautifully appointed rooms. The only complaint I have is my favorite restaurant Matsuhisa was closed both days of my stay for private events.. I ordered room service instead which was really disappointing. The food was really underwhelming. Overcooked."
