"Lovely quiet area to stay. We speak very little Spanish, they were so willing and patient with communication. The porch area was lovely. We enjoyed rocking and having an evening drink. There is a small store about a mile away. We went to bed early and were so surprised that 4 other couples were there for breakfast. Breakfast was a “typical” and very good. "

"Grds. tolle Unterkunft. Das "Iglu" war echt toll. Leider reicht der Vorrat an Warmwasser nicht und die Badewanne auf einmal zu füllen. Eher auf dreimal. Die Mitarbeiter waren OK, aber jetzt nicht hoch bemüht. Die Lage zum Poas Vulkan geht nicht besser"

"Overall it was a nice stay and cleanliness wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, although not sure if the milk is up to standard as it gave one traveller a bad stomach. Tap water was also questionable. Staff are really friendly, but limited English so can be difficult to communicate. Grounds were beautiful, some work was going on during the stay. Really close to blue falls. "

"Cindy, the owner, was an excellent host. Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck. The location is remote (which is the point of booking - for that tree canopy experience) and windy drive, so...

"We were warmly greeted on our arrival by super-helpful Felipe. We had an early start our first morning and asked if a 6am breakfast (90 minutes before breakfast is usually served) would be possible. Not a problem we were told. I was anticipating that we might get a pastry. But instead we started our day with the most amazing home cooked juevos rancheros. Staying in the tree house was special. "This garden stay near the city was a wonderful stop on our way from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Inid and her trusted companion Lucy were wonderful hosts. We ended up showing up early and were not turned away. Privacy was 100% being within the gates and the entire property is one huge garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for the night. It was nice having our coffee next to the pool planning our next moves for...
