"Everything is great. I am impressed with the hospitality of the staff, especially Esther from front desk for accommodating my tour schedule, and Dilan for the night walk. He really knows how to take good photos of the frogs. Location wise, it is around 8min drive from La Fortuna downtown and having a car is more convenient. Not Walking friendly. If you don’t have a car, talk to front desk they will definitely help you with some options. One note, remember to bring ear plugs as you will hear the sound of nature 24/7, especially during bed time (birds, cicadas…) And there is also a dog rescue center close by and you will hear some dog barking from time to time. Overall, I am very happy with my experience at Tifakara."
