Nice foreign staff but filthy place.

The staff was excellent but awkward seeing them walk around barefoot. The room was from 1985. Stained carpet. Cigarette burns in comforter, dirty grime around bathtub. Most definitely a budget motel stay. They claimed no rooms on available on first floor. Meanwhile, staff family all lived on first floor. They kept doors open and it was evident.

It was fine for one night, needs updating, plumbing worked, but barely. We were there less than 10 hours so it was fine. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful

We should have left, but had been up since 4am and got in after 9pm after hunting all day, and there was no where else close to stay. While checking in there was a huge black spider on the floor next to the counter. That would have done most in right there. The light in the bathroom couldn’t be used because the exhaust fan sounded like a bearing was wearing out and so ridiculously loud!! We did not use the shower, the shower head and tub was so disgusting, hair on the counter, the toilet was dirty and the bathroom floor grout is BLACK! We did not sleep the majority of the night and (slept in our clothes) due to others repeatedly slamming doors, people knocking on their door. At some point someone had to of complained because I heard someone from the front desk knock on their door and announce them self as such! Something was going on with that much traffic to that room all night and still going on at 5 AM! Not to mention the disgusting smell of skunk weed! Thank goodness I had Lysol in my bag. They didn’t even have coffee the next morning, not that I would have drank it due to the absolute filth!! But I did hear another patron ask for it and was told they didn’t have coffee, but asked him if he wanted hot water. I did ask the front desk when we left if they were aware of the light issue in the bathroom. Acted totally unaware! Never again!!

Beds were comfy. Linens seemed fresh and clean. No bugs present, but based on our initial impressions of the property, we checked. Bathrooms could use a deep clean and a tube of caulk. Lightbulb was missing, and remote was broken. Staff was extremely friendly and professional.

HAd a great stay.

We were pleased overall with our stay, noticing that the hotel had gone through Magor renovations and is waiting on new furnishings. We can say it was a great experience and few places have as nice and polite a staff as this place. All were helpful and when asked for recommendations their suggestions did not disappoint. We were put in a non-smoking room and when I turned on the air conditioner all you could smell was stale smoke smell. The light over the sink was dim and made it hard to see. The tub was dingy looking. Sheets were clean and hotel workers were nice.

In the process of remodeling! Breakfast was very poor. Only had dry cereal & make your own waffles. No fruit, bread, muffins, or yogurt .

Went to spend a weekend away for my daughters birthday. Didnt get to swim as the pool was green. Clerk said its just that way. And then the power went out (uncontrollable) but we had to check out early. No compensation was offered or anything.

The room wasn’t the cleanest. Soap and used wash cloth was in the shower Lip stick was on the bed sheets No tv remote control The night manager a young woman was very nice and helpful. Also Dave the other night manager was very nice and helpful. The price was right but the quality was not.
