Unser sechstägiger Aufenthalt im Alegria Villas hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten eine obere Maisonette-Wohnung. Diese war sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zwei kleine Bäder und drei wunderschöne Schlafzimmer und sowie ein Wohnzimmer mit voll eingerichtete Küche und jeweils separater Klimaanlage. Alle Zimmer haben mindestens einen Balkon/Terrasse. Auf der Hauptterrasse, auf der wir jeden Morgen zu viert gefrühstückt haben, war sogar ein Jacuzzi untergebracht, der sicher an kälteren Tagen schön ist. Auch der Außenbereich der Anlage ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll gestaltet und bietet Platz für größere Gruppen. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön und bietet stets freie komfortable Liegen. Teilweise hatten wir den Pool für uns allein. Es gibt noch eine nette Poolbar, die allerlei Getränke, Eis etc. bietet. Die Inhaberin Lia war äußerst freundlich und hat uns jede Menge sehr hilfreiche und gute Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Die Anlage liegt mitten in der Natur ruhig gelegen und ist nur 5 Gehminuten vom feinsandigen Sankt Nicolas Strand entfernt. Hier kann man auch ohne teure Liegen verweilen und beim Schnorcheln schon viele Fische sehen. Die Plaka Beach und auch die Banana Beach sind ebenfalls gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Etwa 7-8 Minuten entfernt gibt es zwei Tavernen, die wir allerdings nicht besucht haben, und einen Markt, der neben den wichtigsten Lebensmitteln auch alle möglichen touristischen Artikel bietet.

Overall had a good time. We enjoyed the nice large garden with lots of places to hang out, lots of shade. Friendly and welcoming people, texted/emailed before getting there to pick us from ferry if we need it, gave an overview of the island and recommendations about attractions and restaurants and welcomed with a bottle of olive oil. But indoors can use some fixes, bathroom doors not staying closed, water not draining around the water closet!!!, extremely small bathrooms, had to do equilibristics to get the door closed, the tub was missing grounding and shocked the kids. The apartment is actually made for 6 people, had good working A/C in each bedroom. Cleaning is minimal every 3 days with sheets and towels change. Nice touch providing blue pool/beach towels. Pool was extremely chlorinated, burned eyes to kids and adults. For the price we expected a better experience but in the end we enjoyed it.

Beautifully furnished and decorated, like it was right out of a style magazine! Friendly owners and well managed - our apartment was cleaned every day. The pool and grounds had lots of space, either to meet neighbours and make friends, or find somewhere peaceful to swing in a hammock and hang out. Aelgria villas is within walking distance of beaches, reataurants and shops, and a 5 minute drive of other beaches and watersports. What’s not to love?

We stayed as a family with a young baby. The accommodation was very spacious, clean and comfortable. All that we needed for the baby was provided. The owners were lovely and courteous, they did their best to be helpful. The grounds and pool were very attractive. We would stay again.
