"A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"Canal view stay has to be one of the best BnB experiences that we have ever had. The comfort and home-feel of a BnB was combined with the attention to detail and service found within a design hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the space that was larger than expected from the photos. The apartment is in an excellent location walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and of course - Vondelpark. We became regulars at the bar next door that serves great food and drinks....

"We had a wonderful stay and this is must visit place to make your holiday even more comfortable. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. Rooms are very cozy and there is alot of space to keep your belongings. Vintage dutch 3 storey house that has luxurious designed living rooms, bedroom and kitchen. Worth every penny and it is located right on the canal with amazing views and just a 5 min walk from the nearest tram station. I would be visiting again hopefully soon. "

"This property is at a convenient location. Distance to shopping and dining areas are walkable and the environment is beautiful. We absolutely enjoyed a stroll in the morning. "Weird location but such a cool place to stay and it’s in the heart of tulip fields!! The place was immaculate and so serene and beautifully landscaped. Rent bikes and bike into Haarlem — it’s such a charming area and picturesque as you bike there. Staff was great to communicate with before I got there — however after I arrived I emailed them twice and they never responded. Also it’s not possible for US citizens to rent the lodge’s bikes online so figure something out with them beforehand because...

Nice small room with everything you need. One inconvenient: the soap was not refilled there was no soap but we used the shower gel that was refilled."
